Veronica Rivera is a graphic designer for Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS), where she designs for print and web for schools and departments in the district. She is a mentor in Front-End Web development for Code Louisville and serves on the Board of Louisville Makes Games.

She received a bachelor of fine arts degree in graphic design from Western Kentucky University and has received certifications in Front-End Web Development, iOS, PHP, and Full Stack JavaScript through Code Louisville.

She enjoys creating cool and interactive designs through code and stays current with the latest techniques via tutorials on YouTube, Lynda.com, and Treehouse. She also networks and collaborates with other designers and developers in the city through such groups as JSLou, AIGA Louisville, Civic Data Alliance, and more.
