Get Real! Build Real-Time apps with Firebase

Regular Session

Firebase is Google's "serverless" cloud architecture (or Platform as a Service) which was heavily featured at this year's Google I/O conference. Using Firebase you can rapidly build and deploy real-time applications, without needing to worry about managing servers or infrastructure.

Firebase addresses some of the complexities common among Mobile apps, Web apps, and games:

  • Authentication including OAuth
  • Scalable, real-time communication between devices
  • Analytics, Performance Monitoring, and Crash Reporting
  • Cloud storage for your user-provided assets

Come hear how Firebase is helping us build a new application, and learn how it can help you with your next project.

Code examples will be in JavaScript & Angular, but Firebase also has APIs for iOS, Android, Java, Unity, and C++.
