Getting started with GraphQL in ASP.NET Core

Regular Session

GraphQL is a query language and runtime that allows clients to specify exactly what data they need from an API endpoint. Originally created by Facebook, this innovative technology lets the client trim and shape the data returned from an API to optimize payloads. Developers can also use it to minimize the number of separate endpoints that need to be implemented since a single endpoint can fulfill a variety of requests. In this session, I'll give an overview GraphQL and walk through an example of how to incorporate it into an ASP.NET Core Web API.
